The problem
The foundation supports between 1,800 and 2,000 families a year — families of seriously ill, injured or hospitalised children — but the story of what it actually does was scattered: programmes, events, sponsor recognition and giving all lived in separate places. Donors on the island had to guess which payment route worked for them, and the impact numbers behind the work were invisible.
Approach
We treated the site as the foundation's operating front desk rather than a brochure. One clear narrative — families at the heart of care — then a structure that separates the audiences: families looking for support, volunteers and companies wanting to get involved, and donors ready to give. Giving is designed around how money actually moves in Curaçao, not around a single international checkout.
What we built
- Programme pages covering the House, family support, meals and Wheels of Love
- Impact counters for families served, meals provided and volunteer hours
- Donation routes: recurring monthly by card, instant card and debit, and local bank via Sentoo (MCB and Banco di Caribe)
- Get Involved paths for volunteers, companies and event participation
- News and family stories with events like the RMHC Golf Classic, Battle of the Brains and HomeSport
- Sponsor and partner recognition throughout the site
- Cookie consent, analytics and SEO structure for an actively campaigning organisation
Outcome
One public platform that explains the programmes, proves the impact with real numbers, and lets a supporter in Curaçao give in the way that is normal for them.
